The Village is the part of Arroyo Grande that needs the most thought. The older homes there sit on narrow streets with tight, short driveways and limited parking, often with steps up from the street and mature landscaping close to the path. It usually means a shorter truck position, a longer walk and a careful look at where large furniture can actually turn — worth sorting out before moving day rather than on it.

Newer neighborhoods further out, and much of Grover Beach and Nipomo, are far more straightforward: real driveways, room to park and a short carry.
