Piano Movers in San Luis Obispo County

Piano moving is a specialty, not an add-on. We move spinets, consoles, studio uprights and baby grands using piano dollies, ramps, padding and proper rigging, with interior and exterior surfaces protected along the route. An experienced two- to three-person crew controls each lift, turn and transition from pickup through placement.

    • Approximate dimensions and weight
    • Pickup and destination locations
    • The route: doorways, turns, thresholds and tight corners

    Piano Moving questions

What kinds of pianos do you move?
Spinets, consoles, studio uprights, full-size uprights and baby grands. We use piano dollies, ramps, straps and padding, and protect interior and exterior surfaces along the route.
Can you move a piano up or down stairs?
Often yes, but stairs change the equipment and crew needed, so tell us how many steps there are and whether there are turns or landings when you request an estimate.
Do you tune pianos after the move?
No — we move and place the instrument. Pianos generally need tuning after a move, so plan to schedule a technician separately once it has settled.
